It's been three weeks I was sent by company to Jakarta for business trip. I dont have much time to hang around as wished as we are very busy for work. We have to work till late night everyday. It's good to know that company is sending Dan to join us here today. I called a friend from Jakarta that I known from last job to ask what's special in this town. He gave a good idea and I finally came out with a surprise plan to welcome Dan, a dinner! I think the man wouldn't enjoy it as much as the rest of us.
I ask the cab driver whether he knows where is the restaurant I was looking for. He said yes but then in the middle of the journey he admitted that he doesn't know! Gosh, he just want business! FInally I made him ask around until we found the place.
We were the only customer in the restaurant. But we waited 45 minutes but it's worthwhile the trouble looking for the place and waiting for the food preparation. We ordered BBQ phyton, bat satay and crocodile soup. It's my first time for snake and bats but I tried crocodile in the chinese cooking style.
